Term 2 Week 10
30th June 2025
Message from the Principal
As we come to the end of a busy term, I would like to acknowledge the fantastic learning that has taken place in Term 2. Students have participated in engaging classroom activities and taken part in many extra-curricular opportunities across K-6, showing great enthusiasm. I wish all our families a safe and relaxing holiday, and we look forward to all students returning refreshed and ready for the new term ahead!
Parent-Teacher Interviews
This week, we will be holding parent-teacher interviews, and the booking system is still open in School Bytes. These interviews provide a valuable opportunity to discuss your child's progress following the Semester One reports that were sent home last week. We encourage all parents to take advantage of this chance to engage with our teachers and gain insights into your child's learning journey.
Assembly Friday 4th July @ 9:15 am
Our Week 10 assembly is scheduled for this Friday, and we are excited to celebrate the achievements of our students! During the assembly, we will be presenting Spelling Bee certificates, Public Speaking awards, and Athletics ribbons and medals. It’s a wonderful opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of our students, and we invite all families to join us in this celebration of their accomplishments! Please note that Semester 2 SRC badges will not be presented until early Term 3, due to our class restructures.
NAIDOC Week
Our students will participate in various activities on Friday to celebrate NAIDOC Week. The theme this year is "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy." This theme celebrates the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week and recognises the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while also looking forward to the future. It highlights the strength of the next generation and the importance of their vision and the legacy being built.
Save the Date: Education Week Wednesday 6th August (Week 3, Term 3)
Education Week in Term 3 is set to be an inspiring celebration of the achievements and diversity within our public education system, with the theme "Ignite your potential." This year's events will shine a spotlight on the unwavering support for student growth and success, showcasing the remarkable talents and accomplishments of our students. We invite families and guests to join us for a special morning assembly, which will be followed by open classrooms, allowing everyone to experience the vibrant learning environment firsthand. Afterwards, families are warmly welcomed to stay and enjoy morning tea with the students, fostering connections and community spirit as we celebrate the potential of every learner.
