Welcome to another year at Russell Vale Public School!

It was great to see nearly all of the boys and girls return safe and sound after their holiday. It is also wonderful to welcome a few new students, along with our new Kindergarten students and their parents. Please note that staff returned on Tuesday, 27th January (Week 1), and students returned today, Monday 2nd February, meaning we are already into Week 2 of our term calendar, which will be a busy one.

A particular welcome to Mr Crane who is joining us two days per week this year while Mrs Brown prepares for the birth of her third child.

The Executive Team will not be in class on Thursdays this year to provide time for curriculum planning, school planning, progress and implementation monitoring, and evaluation.

The Kindergarten children will be together for a period of time, during which they will be observed to determine the best class placement possible.

A reminder that our Swimming Carnival is planned to take place this Friday. All participants are required to be at school at 8:30am as our buses will leave before our scheduled start time of 9:00am at Corrimal Pool. Thank you in advance to our parent volunteers, without your help we would not be able to run such a successful carnival.
