Principal Message

Today, our school community came together to honour and remember the brave men and women who have served in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC). Our ANZAC service was a heartfelt tribute and a reflection on the sacrifices made for our freedom and to celebrate the spirit of mateship that defines ANZAC Day. We are proud of our students for their respectful participation and for helping to create a meaningful and memorable ceremony. I am looking forward to joining some of our school leaders in Riverstone on ANZAC Day for the Dawn Service. Lest we forget.

As the principal, I can confidently say that getting slimed was one of the most fun experiences I've had at our amazing school! After reaching our fundraising target ahead of schedule, I was so excited to take part in the sliming as a way to celebrate our fundraising efforts. The laughter and cheers from the crowd made it an unforgettable moment.  I hope the entire community enjoyed the spectacle as much as I did. Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm and support!

After a number of years waiting, the crossing on Jetty Street has started today. Please be mindful when picking up from the Jetty Street gate this afternoon. Hopefully, it will be finished quickly for the safety of all our community members.

Best of luck to Mrs Low and Mrs Wergeltoft on the upcoming births, both baby number 3. Such treasured times for you both.

Wishing all our families a relaxing holiday break! As we take this time to celebrate with family and friends, I hope you create wonderful memories filled with laughter and happiness. Enjoy the break, recharge, and indulge in some well-deserved relaxation, and maybe some chocolate. I look forward to welcoming our students back on April 30th, refreshed and ready for an exciting and busy term ahead.

Happy Easter, everyone!
