Principal's Message

Congratulations to our amazing Learning and Support Team who have received an Executive Director's Award for the great work they do to support so many students of varying needs within our school. This is such a wonderful achievement to be recognised across not only our network but all the schools across the Metropolitan North Directorate of Schools. It is a very proud moment for us as a school community. Staff who were recognised on Thursday were Mrs Sue Dalton, Mrs Rebekah Taylor, Mrs Mary Thsiakoulas, and Ms Sammy Rien. Congratulations Team LST!

Unfortunately, due to the unpredictable weather and our extremely waterlogged playground, we had to postpone our NAIDOC Celebrations until the first day of Term 3. This will be a great way to kick off Term 3.

Best of luck to Miss Emma Brown who is leaving us to work at Boronia Park Public School. This has been a very difficult decision for Miss Brown, but her new school is much closer to home. We wish her the very best of luck in the next stage of her career. Mrs Hannah Yip also leaves us to embark on the rollercoaster journey of parenthood. We wish Mrs Yip all the best for her maternity leave.

I am returning to work 4 days per week next term. At this stage, it will be Monday -Thursday, but I have the flexibility to swap to meet our needs at school. It has been extremely busy, but I have loved being back in our school.

I hope you all manage to have some quality family time during the break. Please stay safe, and I look forward to seeing you all next term.

Lisa Crawford
