The Georges Hall Public School SRC have organised a ‘Easter Fundraiser’ in the lead up to our Easter Hat Parade. This fundraiser is being held to raise money to support the farewell of our Year 6 students this year.
On Friday 11th April, all students are encouraged to wear an Easter hat as we will be having our annual Easter Hat Parade on that day. Students are encouraged to participate in the fundraising activities available to them during Week 10 and Week 11. These activities include, colouring in competitions, designing their own easter egg and going on an Easter egg hunt around the school. Please read below for more information about the activities:
Week 10:
● K-6 Colouring Competition - 50c per entry.
○ Colouring in competitions may be purchased from the SRC group in the K-2 and 3-6 courtyards from Monday 31st March.
○ They will be on sale everyday and are due on Wednesday 9th April to the office for judging.
● Easter Egg Design - 50c per entry.
○ A ‘design an Easter egg’ sheet may be purchased from the SRC group in the K-2 and 3-6 courtyards from Monday 31st March.
○ They will be on sale everyday and are due on Wednesday 9th April to the office for judging.
Week 11:
● Easter Egg Hunt - no fee, this will be completed as a class.
○ Classes will go through the school grounds to go on an easter egg hunt to see if they can find out how many eggs have been hidden around the school.
All winners will receive a prize.
