Dear Parents and Carers,

As of Monday 11 May, students will be returning 1 day a week based on their sporting houses as follows:

Monday - Baringa

Tuesday - Eurobin

Wednesday - Malbooma

Thursday - Woomera

We need to adhere to the Department guidelines set out for when students return. This includes limiting the number of students in each classroom based on the size of the classroom. This term, we have nearly tripled the number of students attending school compared to the end of last term. This has meant our supervision plans as of next week have had to be altered to accommodate those students who are at school not on their allocated day. 

• students attending school on any other day than their allocated day above will be in the supervision group
• supervision groups will comprise of students from different classes and different grades/stages
• different casual teachers will be supervising these students and it will not be the same teacher each day
• students will be working in work books and not using technology
• supervision groups will be in different locations depending on numbers. Most students will be in the hall or library where the space is bigger and more students can fit.

Please ensure your child/children come to school on time so we can allocate them to a supervision group promptly.

Due to the high volume of students at school, teachers will be face-to-face teaching or supervising a group each day. Although they will be monitoring the online learning, feedback and marking may take up to a week depending on when the teachers get some release time to attend to the online learning. If student numbers decrease, we will reassess the situation. 

Please note, the canteen will not be open in the coming weeks. We will inform you when we are able to open it again.
