Dear parents and carers,

A gentle reminder that tomorrow Wednesday 5th June, we will be running the Helping your Child with Reading and Phonics at Home Workshop, in the library from 6pm - 7pm. This is a free workshop on helping you to nurture your child's reading abilities at home.

In this interactive session, led by our Learning and Support Teacher and Kindergarten Assistant Principal, Mrs Jowsey and our Stage 1 Assistant Principal, Mr Gadd, our teachers will share practical strategies to help you support your child's reading development outside of the classroom. Incorporating fun activities that foster a love for books, we'll explore methods relevant to your child's reading ability in a practical hands on fashion that will provide you with some great take-aways to use immediately at home with your child. 

Whether your child is just beginning to explore words or is already an avid reader, this session will provide you with tools and resources to assist you support your child's reading journey.
