Dear PA Parents and Students

A reminder:

If a student is unable to attend a Dance or Drama Company/Extension class, we ask that a parent/carer sends an email prior to the absence. We have external tutors we need to inform of any absence to assist in their planning and for roll marking.

Parents/carers are to submit an email to:

In line with our Performing Arts Policy, students can only miss a yearly total of 4 explained Company rehearsals in the school calendar year before their position in that company will be withdrawn.

In the event where a parent does not send an explanatory email to Mr Richards the morning of a rehearsal, a ‘please explain’ email will be sent from the school. If in the event of 2 unexplained absences occurring, the student will be withdrawn from the company.
