Registration now open - UOW Year 10 Discovery Day Thurs 12 June 2025

Hi Year 10,

If you are keen to come to UOW Year 10 Discovery Day, please complete the registration ASAP to secure sessions that best suit you. You have been provided with a link via your email and Year 10 google classroom.

Year 10 UOW Discovery Day is on Thursday 12 June:

• This is an optional excursion. If you're not sure, I encourage you to come for a fun day out!

• Yes, I would like to attend. Kindly remind your parents to give you permission via School Bytes if they haven't already.

• No, I don't want to attend. Come to school & attend classes as normal.

For those of you wishing to attend, you will be given the opportunity to engage in the following sessions:

• Subject selection & career planning
• Interactive workshops based on student interest areas
• Current UOW student-led mentoring session
• Expo with UOW academic staff exploring UOW courses and pathways

When you register, rank your interest areas so UOW can assign taster sessions accordingly. Sessions are assigned based on interest areas and registration date.

Some details for the day:

• Thursday 12 June
• Wear full school uniform
• Make your own way to and from UOW
• Register for activities via the link
• 8.45am - Meet Mrs Williams at UOW Duckpond Lawn
• You will rotate through sessions based on what you selected online
• 2pm - You will dismissed from UOW to make your own way home.
