The University of Sydney is excited to invite you to the upcoming University of Sydney Women in Engineering Information Evening on Monday 21 July, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.

This event is designed for women-identifying students who are considering a future in engineering—including computer science and project management and their parents or carers who want to explore what studying at the University of Sydney is really like.

It’s a chance to hear from current students, meet academic staff, and get a genuine sense of our community.

We’ll also be highlighting over $1.5 million in scholarships available specifically for women in engineering. More information on the scholarships can be found through the links below and scholarship applications will open on 1^st July 2025 and close 30^th September 2025.

The evening will feature guest speakers including Professor Hesham El Gamal, Dean of Engineering, and Professor Renae Ryan, Associate Dean for Culture & Community. It’s a valuable opportunity for your students to ask questions, hear real experiences from current students, and see how we’re helping shape a more inclusive future in engineering.
