The University of Sydney is excited to invite you to the upcoming University of Sydney Women in Engineering Information Evening on Monday 21 July, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
This event is designed for women-identifying students who are considering a future in engineering—including computer science and project management and their parents or carers who want to explore what studying at the University of Sydney is really like.
It’s a chance to hear from current students, meet academic staff, and get a genuine sense of our community.
We’ll also be highlighting over $1.5 million in scholarships available specifically for women in engineering. More information on the scholarships can be found through the links below and scholarship applications will open on 1st July 2025 and close 30th September 2025.
The evening will feature guest speakers including Professor Hesham El Gamal, Dean of Engineering, and Professor Renae Ryan, Associate Dean for Culture & Community. It’s a valuable opportunity for your students to ask questions, hear real experiences from current students, and see how we’re helping shape a more inclusive future in engineering.
