Year 12,

If you are an elite athlete or performer and your training, rehearsals, or competitive commitments have significantly affected your Year 12 studies, UAC’s Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme (EAPS) provides a pathway where institutions can consider both your academic and elite achievements. Through this scheme, you may receive adjustment factors (points) to enhance your selection rank when applying for eligible courses at participating institutions.

How the Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme works

Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme applications are open. You can apply for EAPS from your completed undergraduate application via University Admission Centre (UAC).

This scheme applies to semester 1, 2026 undergraduate offers only. UAC is continuing to work with institutions to finalise their participation in the scheme. Applicants may be considered for adjustment factors or other admission considerations as institutions come on board.

If you are eligible for consideration under the EAPS and your ATAR is below the required selection rank for a course, an institution may increase your selection rank for that course or provide additional support.

Each institution has its own policy on when and how it increases selection ranks for eligible applicants. Providing documentation is not guaranteed to increase your selection rank.

Being eligible for EAPS consideration doesn’t guarantee you an offer to a course; you still need to meet any published lowest selection rank for that course and compete with all other applicants for a place. If you successfully compete against other applicants, you will receive an offer as part of the standard undergraduate offer rounds.
