Are you interested in exploring careers in infrastructure, construction, and local government?

RIEP have invited us to participate in a Transport NSW Infrastructure Industry workshop. This is an exciting opportunity for students to explore local career pathways and hear directly from industry professionals. It will also be a great addition to your future work experience/employment/education applications.

They would like to target female students for this event to encourage young woman into this underrepresented sector.  Transport NSW Apprenticeship and Trainee recruitment will also be live during this workshop, so an opportunity to have a glimpse into the jobs available and seek advice on the application process.

Event Details:
📅 Date: Wednesday 6th August 2025 (Term 3, week 3)
📍 Location: TNSW Bellambi/Russell Vale Depot, York Place, 2517 (just off Memorial Drive)
 🕘 Session: 9:00am to 12pm
👥 Capacity: Up to 20 WHSPA students
🚙Travel: You are required to make your OWN way to and from the venue
👕Dress: Wear full WHSPA school or sport uniform
🌭 Lunch: A free sausage sizzle lunch will be provided

Students will rotate through a series of engaging presentation and hands on activities focused on:

• Bridges & Structures
• Civil Construction
• Traineeships & Apprenticeships
• ELP (Employment Launchpad) Program

This event offers a hands-on opportunity for students to explore careers in infrastructure, construction, and local government.
