Dear Parents/Carers,

Please note that anyone interested in participating in the musical, whether as a lead role or ensemble member, is asked to audition. 

The day will include:

1. Group Dance workshop

2. Group singing workshop with range test

3. Monologue acting auditions (from the monologue choices in the info pack)

Common questions and answers:

1. The character I want to play doesn't have a monologue listed in the options, what should I do? Select one of the four monologues that best suits you, and we will consider who you listed in your application when deciding roles.

2. I don't want to play a lead role and just want to be in the ensemble, do I still audition? Yes, anyone who would like to be involved as a performer should audition.

3. There's a character I really want to play, but listening to the Music, I'm not sure I can hit some of there notes, what should I do? Still apply for the role you want, we can make some adaptations to the singing range

4. Some of the songs listed have multiple parts singing, do I need to learn them all and do I need to know if off by heart? Just learn the parts for the character you want to play. Be as familiar with the song as you can; however, we can provide lyrics.
