The English Faculty are excited to announce our very first Book Week event happening in Term 3, Week 5. This event is all about celebrating the importance of literacy and the fun, inspiration, empathy and comfort that reading can bring. 

You can help support your young person to get involved through:

1. Book Donation Drive: Donate your gently used books for our book stall - these can be dropped off at the Front Office or the English staff room! (up to the end of Week 4)

2. Book Character Costume Day (Friday, Week 5!)

   • Dress up as your favourite book character on Friday of Week 5 and show off your creativity! 

   • At lunch, join us in the Pavilion/Flagpole area for a costume parade! Prizes for best costumes!

   • There will also be a cake and book stall with delicious treats, new reads, and other bookish items for purchase.

We appreciate your support in modelling a culture of reading!
