Dear SGPS Parents and Carers,

Thank you to all parents who have volunteered their time and expertise in the role of class parent. We have a few class positions yet to be filled:

The role of class parent is one that supports both teachers and parents in facilitating communication, welcoming new families and encouraging community involvement. There is support for class parents through our P&C and we welcome parents who may want to work in a pair and share the role.

Please find more information in the attached flyer.

If you are able to support any of the above classes, please fill the nomination slip in and return to your classroom teacher. 

If you have not yet filled in your contact details so that the class parent can add you to their correspondence you can do so:

• in the front office
• using the QR code displayed in classrooms windows
• through the QR code and link sent through the school email

Shortly our 2024 WhatsApp groups will be deleted, parents removed from these groups and added to their new classes. We remind parents that you are giving your consent to contact and be contacted by the class parent for the current school year.
