Dear Parents and Carers,
The Todd Woodbridge Cup is a primary school's tennis tournament run by Tennis Australia. It is for students in Years 3-6 and run as a Stage 2 and a Stage 3 competition.
Todd Woodbridge Cup | Primary Schools | School Tennis | Play | Tennis NSW
The emphasis is on participation and having fun playing tennis so team members do not have to have played representative/competitive tennis before. They should however have some level of tennis experience.
Teams comsist of 4 boys and 4 girls with 2 substitutes - a girl and a boy.
Unfortunately for Samuel Gilbert we have only 4 Stage 3 girls who have expressed an interest in this competition and no Stage 2 girls. This means at this stage we are only able to enter 1 Stage 3 team in the competition which will be played on Monday 11 August at Pennant Hills Tennis Park.
We have 14 Stage 3 boys and 3 Stage 2 boys who have expressed an interest.
We are keen to give the opportunity to play to as many interested students as possible so please let me know if your child, in particular daughters, are interested in participating.
Kind Regards,
Ms C. Barclay
Deputy Principal
