Dear Parents and Carers,

To complement our Term 4 music program, each Kindergarten student will have the exciting opportunity of creating a personal Music Box.

If you are able to collect any of the items below, please send them to school in Term 4, Week 1. If you have extra of either of these items, feel free to send them in too so we can use them as spares.

• 1 x dry pop top juice/water bottle half filled with rice/beans/beads with the lid firmly glued or taped on (MARACA/SHAKER)
• an empty 2 litre ice cream container (or similar), any shape, no lid (DRUM). This will also be used for storing the shaker.

We will start using our instruments in Term 4, Week 2. The Music Boxes will stay at school during the term and will be sent home at the end of the year.

Please label both the shaker and ice cream container with your child’s name. You can decorate them if you like.
