Great Fete Reminders – only 3 sleeps to go!

The weather is looking great and the rides will start moving onto the oval tomorrow – so get excited as it is all happening!

We have a few urgent reminders that we need your help with:

1. Helpers still needed!!

Our sign-up completion has increased to 40%, but we still desperately need helpers for Saturday during the event.  Please sign up here as soon as possible https://signup.com/go/WLfTDuA.  In particular, the BBQ (Gilbert Grill) is only 20% full.  Please sign up for a shift – we need people to sell (using the square devices), people to cook the BBQ and people to serve the customers once they have purchases. Let’s try and get the other 40 positions on the BBQ filled today!

2. Pre-Sale Armband purchases close on Friday night at 11pm

If you haven’t already pre-purchased your armbands, please use this link to purchase them before the cut-off https://www.trybooking.com/DDXYL.  It will save you $5 per arm band.  Pre-sold arm bands will be available from a separate line at the rides booth from 3pm (rides start at 3:30pm), so you can maximise your ride time by purchasing early.  If you purchased your arm bands prior to the August fete date that was postponed, these are still valid (unless you have received a refund).

3. Silent Auction is now live for bids

Our silent auction is now live and you can access the form to bid at this link https://forms.office.com/r/shJ5CKJqch.  Bids will cut off at 7:20pm on Fete night and the highest bid for an item will be notified to collect their item and make payment.  It is a great way to snag some bargains whilst also helping to raise money for the school.  There are some great items available donated by many local businesses – you can buy an electric guitar including lessons for a Christmas present for a budding musician (donated by sponsor Ignite Music), a voucher for tutoring (donated by sponsor CBK Select Tuition), or buy a voucher for nails, hair or coffee from the wonderful local businesses at Knightsbridge shops.
