School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) Recognition Week 2026

This is SASS Recognition Week.  

Every day at Samuel Gilbert PS our school support staff help keep our school welcoming, safe, running efficiently and provide comprehensive support to me (as Principal), school executive, teachers, students and parents.

The SASS includes: School Administrative Manager (SAM), School Administrative Officers (SAOs), School Learning Support Officers (SLSOs), General Assistants (GAs), and other support staff.

We say a huge thank you to Mrs Freeman, Mrs Johns, Mrs Curic, Mrs Hilton, Mrs Irvine, Mrs Forbes, Mrs Stevens, Mrs Nixon, Mrs Rasalingam, Mrs Viney, Mrs Payam, Mr Cellich and Mr Onay.  We would like to commend them for their service to the school.

The teaching staff will recognise these wonderful colleagues throughout the week with thoughtful offerings. I welcome the families of the school to maybe think of a way to acknowledge the work of these people who assist in making Samuel Gilbert a great school and workplace.
