Dear Parents and Carers, 

Due to the 2027 PSSA Cricket State Cup being held in Term 1 next year it is necessary to complete SW cricket trials this year. 

Students must play cricket at a high/representative level to apply. 

I have previously sent out information to all girls who may play cricket but have had no repsonse. 

FOR GIRLS

If you are in year 4 or 5 (Year 5 or 6 2027) who play weekend cricket or are highly skilled and would be able to play with the full kit, please let me know if you would like to attend the trial on Thursday 29th October. This would be a Sydney West trial. 

FOR BOYS

As there a larger number of boys who play cricket a Castle Hill Zone trail will be held to select 6 boys in total to attend the Sydney West trial. Boys must be in Years 4 or 5 ( 2027 - Years 5 or 6).

The Castle Hill PSSA Zone Cricket trials will be taking place on Friday 16^th October 2026 (T4Wk1) from 2.15pm at Bernie Mullane Cricket Nets. (Back Up Monday 19/10/26 - Week 2).

The hope is that students arrive at 2.15pm and then by 2.30pm the trial is underway.

There is no specific end time as the duration is directly correlated to how many students get sent. All students have the same opportunity to bat and bowl.

All students should be in attendance at school for the morning sessions and be picked up around lunch time and brought to the trials.

Parents are required to transport the child to the trials and remain until they conclude.

Please send me your child's name, date of birth, playing experience - club/representative club/level etc, position and paler stats so that we can determine which boys to send to the trial.
