2019 Hill Performing Arts Evening Performance

Dear Parents/Carers,

On the 5th September 2019, your child will be performing at the Hills Performing Arts Festival. They will be attending a day rehearsal and then will be expected to be dropped off and picked up from the Evans Theatre, Penrith for the evening performance. 

Details are as follows:

WHO:

Stage 2 Dance, Boys Hip hop, Skipping Group, Years 4 & 5 Choir only

WHEN:

Thursday 5th September 2019 (evening)

WHERE:

Evan Theatre

Penrith Panthers Rugby League Club

123 Mulgoa Rd

Penrith NSW 2750

TRANSPORT:

Students to be dropped off at 6:00pm and picked up at the conclusion of the show (approx 9:30pm) by parents/carers.

ARRIVAL TIME:

6:00pm for a 7:00pm start.

PICK UP TIME:

Approx 9:30pm (picked up at the conclusion of the evening by a parent/carer).

WHAT TO WEAR:

Full performance outfit and clothes to change into afterwards.

WHAT TO BRING

Water bottle and snacks.

At the end of the Concert:

  • The children will be assembled for collection at the conclusion of the concert at a designated area for our school. 
  • Choir students can be picked up from inside the theatre after the concert has finished. 
  • Dance/Performance students can be picked up from the holding area on Level 2. This will be explained again on the night.
  • Children are not permitted to go outside to the car park or to the foyer to meet parents. 

Parents please note:

  • If you are ordering tickets by telephone, it is advisable to pick them up before the day of the concert to avoid extended time in queues.
  • Penrith Panthers advises that NO MOBILE PHONES, VIDEOS OR CAMERAS are to be used during the performance.

Important things to remember:

  • Label all belongings.
  • Students are not able to leave before the concert is finished.
  • Bring a water bottle, plain snacks and something for entertainment such as a small game, cards, etc. Please note that no responsibility is taken for electronic devices as bags are left unattended during our performance.
  • Under no circumstances are parents to go back stage or to the waiting rooms to ask for their children after their item.  All children must stay for the duration of the concert and will be under the supervision of their teachers. This is a child protection and duty of care safety issue. Your support and understanding with this is greatly appreciated.

Please complete the digital permission form and submit it by Friday 30 August 2019.
