SAVE THE DATE

Our annual school cross country carnival will be held on Wednesday 27 March 2024 starting at 9:15 am.  

As this carnival is a school sporting event we ask that all students from Kindergarten to Year 6, who wish to compete, wear their full school sports uniform with the option to wear a coloured t-shirt representing their House colours. 

ELLIS - yellow

FREEMAN - red

PONTING - green

THORPE - blue

Participants will be competing in the following age groups as listed below. 

Distances:

12/13 years = 3000m

11 years = 3000m

10 years = 2000m

8/9 years = 2000m

Please note that starts will be staggered, so students will need to listen to announcements for when they need to head to the marshalling area. 

All students are encouraged to participate in their age-appropriate events. 

Parents/carers are welcome to attend the carnival from 9:15 until 1:15 but are asked to stay in the spectator-designated areas and not block the running track.

Year 1 and Kindergarten students will participate in their fun run after recess (11:30 am).

Further reminders will follow closer to the date.
