Dear Families, 

We warmly invite you to join us for a few special events being held in Week 3 to celebrate Public Education Week. 

1.    Monday 5th August, 2 pm-3 pm. 

Open Classrooms: 

All classrooms will open their doors to welcome parents and toddler siblings to visit. This is a wonderful chance to see what your children have been learning about and view some of their work. (Please be advised that due to child protection, supervision and safety considerations, it will not be possible for students from other classes to visit their siblings’ classes).

2.   Tuesday 6th August 10 am-11:30 am. 

 Book Parade and Morning Tea: 

Please join us for our 2024 Book Parade. Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character or in the theme, ‘Reading is Magic’. Parents will be able to watch the parade from a viewing area and stay for a morning tea picnic with their children. Please bring a picnic blanket and food for you and your child. The parade will begin at 10 am. Please make sure to arrive on time! 

3.   Wednesday 7th August.

100 Days of Kindergarten Celebrations (KINDERGARTEN and their families ONLY):

Please refer to separate information that has previously been sent to all Kindergarten families.  

4.    BOOK FAIR: 

Our amazing BOOK FAIR will open on Thursday 1st August and close on Wednesday 7th August. Students will view the books in their library time the previous week so they will know what they would like to buy, hopefully reducing the wait times! 

It will be open at the following times for purchases:

Thursday 1st August- 8 am-8:45 am AND 3 pm-4 pm

Friday 2nd August- 8 am-8:45 am AND 3 pm-4 pm

Monday 5th August- 2 pm-4 pm (Open Classrooms Day) 

Tuesday 6th August- 8 am-12 pm (Book Parade Day)

Wednesday 7th August- 12 pm-3 pm (Kindergarten 100 Days Celebration Day)

Both card and cash payments will be accepted. Please consider buying an extra book to donate to our beautiful Library.
