As the winner of last year’s cherry auction, Talal bid a generous $60,000 - topped up by Sydney Markets Credit Services with an additional $20,000, $60,000 pledged by a consortium of Sydney Markets businesses and individuals, and $25,000 from Sydney Markets Limited on behalf of its shareholders.

Making it a record breaking grand total of $165,000 successfully raised for Little Wings Australia. The coveted case of cherries were from Smiths Fruit VIC by Antico International.
