Canteen News
- Canteen’s last day this year is Wednesday 14 December.
- Unfortunately, Nalika has advised that she will not be returning to the canteen next year. Nalika has done an amazing job this year, taking over as canteen manager at the start of the year and running the canteen so smoothly.

‘Tis the Season to be thankful
Teachers and Staff Appreciation Day – 15 November
- We celebrated Teachers & Staff Appreciation Day on Tuesday 15 November with a special lunch for all the teachers and staff.
- Parents generously donated delicious food and the P&C added food and drinks to the buffet lunch. The menu is attached.
- The P&C arranged a collection for teachers and staff on GroupTogether. Thank you to all the families that contributed to the collection and /or wrote a personal message in the Group Card. We raised an incredible $2,015 !
- The group card is available for viewing at :
o https://grouptogether.page.link/ZLRK
- Apologies to those that contributed after the collection closed and were not able to be included in the group card.
- We gave all the teachers and staff a combination of gifts that included a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of red wine (appropriately labelled the Wine Doctor), champagne, a selection of international beer, Aperol Spritz gift packs, a box of chocolates and scented candles.
- Thank you to Jesslyn Wihandi (Lyndzey & Lindton) for arranging the flowers.
- The school has sent a very warm and gracious thank you message to the school community on school enews.

Donations to FSPS Public Library Fund
- The school has a public library fund which accepts tax deductible donations. We would like to thank the following families who contributed a total of $2,700 this year.
o The Gordon family (Chloe – Lavender, Esther – Cobalt)
o Melanie Tait / Dr Giulio Comin (Massimo – Cobalt)
o The Moffat family (Betsy – Magenta)
- The school uses these funds for technology support and library books.
Parent Volunteers and Class Parents
- Thank you to all the parents that have helped with the P&C events and activities this year.
- It has been a massive year as we tried to bring the fun back to school after 2 years of COVID restrictions.
- We were able to reprise our Harmony Day national costume parade, hold an international food week at the canteen, have a freedom sausage and cake stall during the May Federal elections, run our traditional Mother’s Day stall, hold the P&C Book Fair during Book Parade, organised two colour fun runs and an epic Halloween disco, and organise a FSPS teachers and staff appreciation lunch.
- We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of all our parent volunteers who give so generously of their time and efforts.
Class Parents

- Thank you to all the class parents for all your efforts helping your parents in the class and for facilitating communication between the P&C, school and parents.
