P&C Newsletter – May 2023 Update

Just a reminder for upcoming events and KIDS CARE 2 CURE Mufti Day on Tuesday, 23 May 2023.

P&C Mother’s Day Stall – Friday, 12 May

· The P&C will be holding its Mother’s Day Stall this Friday, 12 May, after the school assembly, from 10:15am -12:30 pm.

· Please provide your child / children with some cash to spend at the stall to buy gifts for mum, grandma, aunts and carers.

· Gifts range from $5 to $30 and students can purchase a range of Mother’s Day branded items, candles, jewellery and other gifts.

· A massive "thank you" to Dina Ochwada for organising our Mother’s Day stall this year.

· Parent volunteers are needed to help run these stalls. Please contact Luke (0402 484 778) or Dina (0411 205 378) if you are able to help on the day.

KIDS CARE 2 CURE Mufti Day – Tuesday, 23 May

· Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease, and more people under 40 than any other cancer.

· We are having a mufti day on Tuesday, 23 May to help raise funds for The Brain Cancer Group (visit www.braincancergroup.com.au for more information on the work they do).

· Children can come in ordinary clothes to school and are encouraged to wear a beanie to raise awareness of brain cancer.

· Please bring a gold coin donation and we hope to also have fund raising beanies on sale on the day.
