Dear Parents/Carers
As an elected member of our Student Representative Council (SRC) your child is invited to attend The National Young Leaders Day event. This is an annual event that concentrates on training students for their role as school leaders. The style, topics, and content of this conference all focus on what the students can do right now. The program consists of keynote talks, multimedia presentations and interactive learning that seek a range of specific outcomes for young people who aspire to lead themselves & others well.
The conference will be attended by our SRC Executive, House Captains and SRC Class Reps.
When: Wednesday 11 March 2019
Time: 8.30am-3.00pm
Where: International Convention Centre, Darling Drive, Darling Harbour
Travel: Parents are to arrange transport to the venue and meet Mrs Pretty at the entrance to the ICC. Mrs Pretty will accompany the students back to school on the Light Rail. The students will walk with Mrs Pretty from Lilyfield Station back to school.
Cost: No cost. However students are required to have sufficient funds on their Opal cards
Dress: Full school uniform
What to bring: Students will be issued an event booklet to take notes throughout the day. Please ensure your child packs their pencil case, recess, lunch and a drink of water.
