Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope all our families are enjoying the break.

This morning, the Premier announced that the staged return to school will be brought forward one week from 25 October to 18 October. The staggered cohort approach will remain to allow schools to prepare Level 3 plus COVID-safe plans and to ensure schools have enough fully vaccinated staff on site to support the return. We have now received information about Preschool's return to school date, which will be 18 October.

• 18 October: department preschools, Kindergarten and Year 1
• 25 October: Years 2, 6 and 11
• 1 November: Years 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

A Principals’ webinar is planned for next Tuesday, so I will have further details then. In addition, I will keep the community updated with any further advice I receive.
