Dear Parents and Carers

We have received news that Sydney city will be lit up in green and gold for the Matildas’ round of 16 FIFA World Cup match on Monday night. Buildings across the Sydney CBD will turn green and gold, and messages of support will be displayed across the transport network, with the Sydney Opera House illuminated from 6 pm ahead of kick off.

The NSW Department of Education has sent communication to schools to encourage everyone to wear green and gold on Monday 7 August to show support.

If your child would like to participate, they can wear green and gold to school on Monday.
