Superstar Skylar (year 6) has thrown his way to victory in the discus event at the recent State Athletics Carnival. He will now be heading to the National Athletics Carnival held in Tasmania this year. He is the first Annandale Public School Student to reach a national level sporting event in memory and we could not be more proud!

To support Skylar's trip to Tasmania the P&C and the SRC will be running a Jersey Day on Thursday 9th of November for a gold coin donation. Please wear your favourite sports jersey to support Superstar Skylar! You can donate ahead of time via this link JerseyDay or P&C volunteers will be at the school gates at drop off if you wish to pay by tapping on the day. If you need to send your child in with a coin then we will be accepting cash too. ALL DONATIONS TOWARDS JERSEY DAY WILL BE MATCHED BY THE P&C.

Anita Gover (Skylar's mum) is also selling raffle tickets (organised by NSW Primary Schools Sports Association) over the next two weeks with proceeds going towards the associated costs of the competition. You will find her by the Johnston st gates on Thursday mornings and at the Trafalgar st gates on Friday mornings.
