Dear Parents and Carers
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is introducing a new project that has been designed to support infrastructure planning activities. The project involves the administration of surveys, designed to gather feedback on how Kiama High School is perceived by existing students, staff and families to assess their experience at the school. The information captured will assist with making informed decisions regarding improvements to the school.
As part of the project students will be invited to complete the surveys during school hours, at a dedicated session during Term 4. Participation is anonymous and voluntary, if you wish to withdraw your child from this program, please complete the attached withdrawal form by Thursday 3 November 2022.
Separate surveys will be completed by staff and parents/ caregivers. A parent/ caregiver information session has been scheduled on Tuesday 8 November 2022 from 4pm – 5pm at Kiama High School, if you require assistance or do not have access to a device. A small team of staff from SINSW will be available to assist during the scheduled session.
Surveys will be made available to parents/ caregivers from Monday 7 until Sunday 13 November. Surveys can be accessed here, (or via the QR code included below) together with the access code: KHSparent
Attached is a fact sheet which provides further detail regarding the project as well as frequently asked questions.
Yours faithfully
Mrs Catherine Glover
