Dear Parent/Carer,

Thank you for submitting your enrolment documentation for your child to commence Kindergarten at Kareela Public School in 2025. I would like to welcome your family to the Kareela Public School community. We are pleased to offer a position to your child, and we are very excited that your child will be joining our school next year.

To accept or decline the position at Kareela Public School please complete the attached Google Form by 14 August 2024. This offer of placement is subject to the provision of any outstanding documentation by 27 September 2024.

Later this year, you will have the opportunity to attend a Kindergarten Parent Information Evening followed by three transition sessions for your child to attend. These sessions will give your child the opportunity to spend time in the classroom with the current Kindergarten teachers, meet his/her 2025 buddies, and most importantly, connect and play with the other children who will be starting school next year. The dates for Transition to School are:

• Wednesday 16^th October 2024: Parent Information Evening – 6:00pm
• Thursday 24^th October 2024: Kindergarten transition and buddy program - Session 1
• Thursday 31^st October 2024: Kindergarten transition and buddy program - Session 2
• Thursday 7^th November 2024: Kindergarten transition and buddy program - Session 3

Our transition program marks the beginning of our partnership in your child’s educational journey.
