Helper Inductions 2024 – save the dates
Parents and community members are valued as an integral part of Epping Heights Public School. There are numerous roles that parent and community volunteers can be involved in to support the school in its core business of improving learning outcomes for students. This includes being a parent helper in classrooms, on excursions, at sports carnivals, at school events, for band etc
Our thorough helper induction process helps reassure all parents that everyone who volunteers in our school has been through a rigorous process and is safe, before working with our students.
Helpers are required to:
1. Complete a school-based induction (approx 45 minutes). Planned sessions are on 16 February at 9a.m in-person at school OR via zoom on 13 February at 5:30p.m https://nsweducation.zoom.us/j/63804437207?pwd=ZkgwbmxTSGt4R2k3SW0wblFLTGpTZz09

2. Complete the Declaration for Child related workers. Parent volunteers are exempt from the Working with Children Check (WWCC) requirement and should complete all relevant sections in this form, including part 1, part 3 and part 4 (section C).
3.Present photo identification to our office team to verify (e.g. drivers licence).
4.Complete the Helper agreement- online at https://forms.gle/DEQt4s5RkGEzJtgk9 or via hard copy at our office.
