Revised 2023 GRIP Student Leadership Conference

Please ignore the first message, as it had Monday instead of FRIDAY 10 March.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Our student Leadership Team has the opportunity to attend the 2023 GRIP Student Leadership Conference.

The details are as follows:

DATE: FRIDAY, 10 March 2023

LOCATION: Wollongong University, in the University Hall

TIMES: Students need to be dropped off between 8:45-9:00 at the side of University Hall, next to the P8 carpark. Pick up will be from the same location at 2:40.

TRANSPORT: Parent responsibility

WHAT TO BRING:  

  • Small backpack/bag
  • Pen (notebook will be provided)
  • Recess, lunch and a drink (catering is not included and conference breaks are not long enough to make use of catering venues)

WHAT TO WEAR: Full school uniform (not sports uniform)

COST: School funded

SUPERVISED BY: Mrs Redfern and Mrs Thurston

The permission note for this excursion will be sent out via our school app. There is now a ‘Year 6 Leadership Group’ on the app.

As soon as we hear back regarding attendance for all leaders involved, we will confirm our numbers (preferably by Friday 24 February).
