Dear Parents/Carers, 

The 2024 Wollongong Combined Schools’ ANZAC Assembly will be held at the War Memorial Cenotaph, in MacCabe Park Wollongong, on Thursday 2 May 2024. Your child has been asked to represent our school at this assembly.  Parents and Caregivers are welcome to attend. Students are required to wear their full school uniform (not sports uniform). 

Our OoSH bus will be providing transport to and from the venue, that will be free of charge. The bus will leave Figtree Heights Public School at 10:30am and return to school by 12pm.  Students will have their recess before we leave school and will have their lunch back at school after the event. 

Parents and community members are welcome to meet us at the War Memorial Cenotaph, in MacCabe Park Wollongong, if you would like to attend the assembly.  

In the event of inclement weather, or public health social restrictions, the assembly will be cancelled.
